Job Description:
Keshet Media Group is looking for an IT Technician, with a focus on video technologies for an interesting and challenging role in the broadcasting department.
The position involves working in a dynamic environment with multiple interfaces and providing technological support for internal IT and video needs.
Position Scope: Full-time position in shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Management and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Developing scripts for automating and optimizing technical processes.
- Managing and configuring virtual work environments (VMware).
- Working with GCP cloud services, including setting up, maintaining, and optimizing resources.
- Supporting video systems, including installation and maintenance of video broadcasting equipment.
- Collaborating with development teams to create and improve tools for managing and handling video assets.
Job Requirements:
- Practical experience in writing scripts in Python.
- Knowledge and experience with VMware.
- Familiarity with GCP cloud services, including computing, networking, and storage.
- Broad technical understanding of IT, including hardware and software maintenance.
- Advantage: knowledge of Elastic Stack.
- Previous experience working in a video environment – a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, while meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
- Creative thinking and ability to solve complex problems.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work across multiple interfaces.
